Luftwaffe Fighter Colours 1941-44 Set
Colors for Luftwaffe day fighters
This set offers the modeler the three colors which were officially specified as the basic camouflage colors for Luftwaffe day fighters in 1941; namely RLM 74, 75 and 76. Although RLM 74 was officially withdrawn in mid-1944, all these colors were in fact still in use until the end of WW2. These colors were also extensively used for painting German night-fighter aircraft. The fourth color included in this set, RLM 04 Yellow, was commonly used for painting various quick recognition markings that were applied throughout the entire war.
Our paints are not only historically accurate and specially formulated with top quality components to exacting standards; our paints also take into account the effect of scale reduction. Ready to use straight from the bottle; simply shake, and the paint is ready to go. Dilution is not necessary when airbrushing AK paints; however, when painting camouflage or fine lines, add a few drops of our specially formulated thinner AK-712. Useful with all acrylic paints, AK-712 improves the performance of the paint and is vastly superior to most other available thinners, resulting in a greater degree of coverage when applied by brush.
